Getting featured on a website’s business section is an achievement in itself; but to appear on the business page of www.swan.wa.gov.au is a milestone on the progressive path of one’s career. City of Swan is a government website featuring the budding and established businesses of Swan Valley in Western Australia. Besides being a business listing site, it also provides latest news and business events happening in and around Perth region.
The post featuring ‘Stories On The Wall’ accounts for the lifetime journey of its owners Bonnie and Paul, and depicts how their passion for fine arts took them around the world to places like Bali, India and Turkey in search of the hand-picked collections of boat wood furniture, rugs, shawls and silk they feature in their art gallery on James Street, Guildford WA.
Their unique collection also holds beautiful art work created by Bonnie focused on the sweet human relations and the breathtaking grandeur of Mother Nature. Because almost all her paintings are inspired by her own life experiences, Bonnie first thought to put her work up for exhibition. The positive response from the art admirers compelled the couple to keep the art gallery permanently. Soon they expanded their business to include unique handmade furniture made of recycled boat wood from Bali, vintage rugs from Turkey and silks and shawls from India.
Since the business has been promising, the partner couple are planning to expand it further with new outlets in Western Australia and New Zealand locations.
To view their collection, drop in at 175 James Street, Guildford WA 6055; open Wed- Sun, 10am- 5pm. Read the full featured story on City of Swan website here.
